A very articulate and very very patient young Zoe. She was able to assist me in understanding not only the three principles of, Aperture, Exposure, and Speed and I.S.O but also how I was able to apply those aspects to the controls on my camera. I moved over from 35m to Digital some years ago and struggled, until Sunday, to understand my lovely camera, let alone struggle through the manual. It was a chilly day, and at Zoe's suggestion , we were sbout to take an exercise in star effect useing the sun : with that the sun disappears behind the biggest darkest cloud of the day, and stayed there. Never mind, it gave us a laugh . Thanks again, good luck to Zoe on her ventures, and thankyou for sending those brautiful pictures down the line. Tom McIver.

This photo was taken with my iPhone 14 Pro on 14th November around 5pm during the 'magic hour' the lighting was beautiful. I edited it a little in Snapseed just to tweak it to how my eyes saw it on that day. I love to use my iPhone because it is always with me! Watchet Harbour is a special place. It has much history:Under Alfred the Great (AD871-901), Watchet became an important Saxon port and a site of a ?Royal Mint?, coins of which have been found as far distant as Copenhagen and Stockho

As I turned to leave the Levles, my morning walk coming to a close, I couldn't resist one last glance at Glastonbury Tor. The mist was beginning to rise, shrouding the iconic hilltop in a veil of ethereal beauty. The scene was a stark contrast to the vibrant summer days that had passed. A sense of autumn's approach hung heavy in the air, a gentle whisper carried by the cool breeze. As I stood there, captivated by the scene, I felt a deep connection to the land.
